This is the fourth of a series of releases by The Afterthought. After copying all of our old 4-track, 6-track and reel-to-reel tapes onto the computer (it took years!), we began sifting through the material, looking for good demos. The tracks on this compilation are from our gigging days, when we'd made a core of track which were loud and rocky.
Most of this compilation is taken from The Angry Tape, as we called it, which was a mixdown from a six-track cassette recorder. The last two tracks were recorded live to stereo cassette.
Where there is a track that has more than one interesting demo, we have given each demo version an identification, like Version 1, so that it won't get mixed up when future releases appear.
We hope you like what you find.
